We already know that the County Center in downtown Tampa, the home of much of Hillsborough County's government staff, will be shutting down for two weeks to avoid any issues with protesters at this summer's Republican National Convention.

The city of Tampa has not officially declared whether it will be open for business. And on Wednesday we learned via Rick Danielson in the Tampa Bay Times that the John Germany Library on Ashley Drive will also be shutting down.

But what about individual businesses? Certainly those around the Tampa Bay Times Forum and the Tampa Convention Center could be directly affected, especially if their location will put them inside the Secret Service-established security perimeter that will require specific credentials to enter.
