A new study by Homes.com ranked the 50 largest cities in the nation by how family-friendly they are factoring like crime scores, average commute times and school quality.  We even beat out Orlando — and Mickey Mouse lives there!

The list was created to assist parents in finding a metropolitan city to call home when raising their children. Although we all know the Howard Frankland can be a nightmare, when it comes to commute times, we don't have it too bad.

Tampa's strengths are child care, cost of living and parks. So who beat us?  Virginia Beach, VA came in 1st place, with Raleigh, NC a close second. Tampa trails Charlotte, NC due to its low cost of living.
