Adult content creators apparently cranked out over $8 million from Tampa residents in 2025, according to a recent report.
A new study from third party search site Only Guider, says the Tampa area spent $8,668,566 on OnlyFans, which is a subscription-based site platform associated typically with pornographic material.
This means, if we’re assuming the site counted the 419,000 people that live in Tampa proper, the average resident uploaded their driver’s license onto an adult site and happily dropped $20.68, which is certainly a lot, but still considerably less than how much it costs to park at Busch Gardens.
In total, Tampa ranked 15th in the nation for OnlyFans spending. Atlanta took the top spot, with a whopping $26.2 million total for the year, and Orlando was a distant second at $14.3 million.
To get these numbers, OnlyGuider says it used their own data, along with Google Ads API,and looked at “spending by territory, census division, and major metropolitan hubs to identify where the digital intimacy market is most concentrated.”
Let’s be clear, Tampa’s $8.6 million is a decent chunk of change. It’s about the same amount that Joshua Wostal and other conservative Hillsborough County Commissioners voted to axe from affordable housing funds in 2024, or how much St. Pete invested in Shore Acres flood improvements. It’s also pretty darn close to how much former Lightning owner Jeff Vinik spent on his penthouse in the Tampa Edition.
