• Mr. Lopez on stage at Club Skin

There's only so long I can sit in a fully nude club filled with male strippers before I start fantasizing about being a performer, or at least making the money that dancers do. Aside from a few stray tattoos and some pole tricks, the only thing separating many of the customers at Skin Tampa from the dancers is a G-string or a designer jockstrap.

This Sunday marked the second time the GAYbor club, Liquid Lounge, teamed up with Skin to host a night featuring nude, male dancers. Judging from how packed the club was at 8:30 PM with dancers and patrons constantly shuttled over from Liquid Lounge, it won't be the last time the two clubs team up.

While the first-time nude dancers—the most common type—listened to the rules regarding what they could and could not do at an "adult use" facility, and debated the legality of stirring a customer's drink with their flesh money-wand, I chatted with one of the seasoned dancers to see what it takes to turn groin-thrusting into cash.
