Singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright welcomed his first child -- a daughter, Viva Katherine Wainwright Cohen -- with his longtime boyfriend. The baby's mother is none other than Leonard Cohen's daughter, Lorca.


Rosie O'Donnell is back on the market after breaking up with Tracy Kachtick-Anders, her girlfriend of one year.


Two men in Kentucky are claming The Creation Museum refused them access to a Valentine's Day dinner because they are a gay couple. A spokesperson for the museum alleges the men are straight and posed as gay men with the intent of disrupting the dinner.


Facebook has changed its relationship status options to be more LGBT-friendly and now include "In a civil union" and "In a domestic partnership" as choices.


Critically-acclaimed Academy Award favorite The King's Speech filmed several of its scenes on a set used by a gay porn production company. Scenes where King George VI (Colin Firth) visited the office of speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush) were shot on a set that is used by the website UK Naked Men.

After much backlash from gay activists and liberal groups over its donating money to a gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota who opposed same-sex marriage, Target has changed its policy regarding political spending. This comes after the company announced a partnership with Lady Gaga to release an exclusive edition of her pro-gay "Born This Way" album. Gaga claimed in a recent interview that before striking the deal she demanded Target improve relations with the LGBT community.
