- Gallup reports: The congressional approval rating now sits at a staggeringly low 18%. Could it be that the Dems were elected to end the war in Iraq, but instead have continued to fold in the face of presidential pressure?
- Monster.com got hacked, possibly exposing the personal information of tens of thousands of job applicants to spammers.
- When will the national debt nightmare come home to roost? Or, to put it another way, how long until China and Japan own your electric and water suppliers? (Paying attention yet?)

- Movie Biz Horror! Michael Bay back on to direct Transformers 2. Oh, the humanity!!!
