A rural Florida home that appears to be in the process of being reclaimed by the forest is now for sale.
Located at 1401 E Lakeview Ave., in Eustis, the home was built in 1926, and was the longtime home of the late Dr. James W. Todd, who was a well-known local surgeon with a private practice in the area. According to property records, the home is still in the Todd family.
Besides vertical landscaping, the two-story home also comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as custom millwork, two fireplaces, a detached covered pool, a two-car garage, and a rare basement.
The home is currently asking $279,000, and is currently under contract but accepting backup offers, says the listing.
