I think it was during CNN's Reliable Sources program Sunday morning discussing the reporting of the health care debate that I officially reached my quota of references to the difficult process in the Democrats crafting the legislation (what with "Deem and Pass", "reconciliation", et al). Invariably, the messiness in putting together bills like the health care legislation is always referred to as "watching the sausage being made."
Frankly, I think sausage making is getting a bad rap. Check out below a German video depicting the creation of Bratwurst sausage. As bad as what can sometimes come out of Congress? You decide.
