I got two emails about breaking doggie news, and seeing as I received them within 15 minutes of each other, I felt the need to share.
1. Apparently, Friday, June 23, is Take Your Dog to Work Day. In celebration, 3M Pet Care hosts an online photo gallery of doggies at the workplace. If you've got digi-images of your four-legged friend hard at work, 3M invites you to
upload them to the gallery. The first 50 visitors to
submit a picture receive a Doggie Care Kit
from 3M Pet Care, which includes 3M Pet
Heavy Duty Pet Wipes, 3M Liquid Bandage and other 3M stuff for your god. I mean, dog.
2. Mayor Pam Iorio opens Tampa’s newest dog park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13. The 1.75-acre off-leash area is located within Rowlett Park at 2401
E. Yukon, and offers separate play areas for large and small dogs complete with agility equipment. The public and their dogs are invited to attend.
