Here's some tunes to help make your Friday the 13th all that more enjoyable. If you have never heard Hawkins' demonic, whiskey-fueled, original rendition of "I Put a Spell on You," please, seek it out. Recorded in the 1950s, it remains one of the most powerful, spine-tingling singles of all time. Anyway, enough of my music lecturing, here's the list:
1. "I Put a Spell on You," Screamin' Jay Hawkins
2. "Voodoo Chile," Jimi Hendrix
3. "Superstition," Stevie Wonder
4. "Black Magic Woman," Santana
5. "Born Under a Bad Sign," Albert King
6. "Thirteen" Johnny Cash (originally by Danzig)
7. "Paranoid," Black Sabbath
8. "Marie Laveau," Bobby Bare (written by Shel Silverstein)
9. "Black Juju," Alice Cooper Group
10. "Cross Road Blues," Robert Johnson
