A new poll released Tuesday morning shows Alex Sink leading Rick Scott by 8%.  Although it's early, it's more good news for the Democrat, who (at this time) doesn't have nearly the negatives that pollsters have shown that Scott possesses.

So what is Scott doing to impress upon the general electorate that he's the man that can successfully bring the Sunshine State back out of its economic morass?  Talk about his 7-7-7 plan for ?  No, talk about the other guy – or gal, in this case.  That was the formula that worked in his primary run against Bill McCollum.  Against Sink, Scott wants to link Sink directly to the policies of Barack Obama, whom Scott apparently believes has approval ratings of 25%, and not 45%.  Check out his new ad:

Sink responded shortly after hearing about the ad.
