If you can't make a long-term commitment to beach outings, steal away for the Spring Fling in Treasure Island. Gulf Beaches Rotary and the City of Treasure Island hosts the weekend-long bash — the first of what promises to be an annual event — from Friday to Sunday, March 17-20.
The event will take place at Treasure Island Community Center and will include carnival rides, food and craft vendors, and live entertainment by both local and national bands.
