Also, presidential candidate and weathered apple-harvest doll Donald Trump returned to Tampa to try to tell minorities that he’s their candidate. If only there’d been a few minorities in the crowd among the white men whose anger at the system is both totally justified and terribly off-target…
A Pasco kid who tweeted a photo of a gun and referenced Sunlake High has been suspended for, well, idiocy, when it boils down to it. Or, since the word “arrest” doesn’t appear in the article and the kid doesn’t have to go to school, perhaps he’s some sort of evil genius.
And finally, Lightning owner, developer and extremely rich man Jeff Vinik said Tampa’s main problem is transportation. Jeff Vinik is more than a rich sports-team owner capable of turning an arena into a ball bath; Jeff Vinik is a man of vision and common sense, and the latest addition to my “people I wanna have a beer with” list. Mr. Vinik understands the phrase “well, derf.”
