The Dan Gelber fans were eagerly re-tweeting the URL Tuesday morning of a Sunshine State News poll that showed the Miami Beach state Senator breaking away from his fierce challenger, fellow South Florida state Senator Dave Aronberg by a 38%-27% lead.
Pollster Jim Lee said that among the more heavily weighted "likely voters," Gelber has an even stronger lead at 45%-27%.
But things could change, as Lee finds 36% have yet to make up their mind.
Later on Tuesday came the Florida Chamber of Commerce poll, which has a much closer margin between the two, with Gelber up by 6%, 20%-14%.
Again, the key factor is, that's only 34% of those Democrats knew already who they preferred.
