After more than a year of campaigning by Eat the View and their 100,000+ supporters, the Obamas are planting a vegetable garden on the White House grounds! The White House garden proposal won an online contest early this year called On Day One. I know it's day 58, but I still think it's a victory. Almost as good as knowing the garden will be built is realizing we have a President who is listening.
