Vince Robertiello, a New Jersey native, retired to Florida 12 years ago after a career as an award-winning newspaper reporter and editor and a communicator and public relations specialist for major corporations including Continental Oil Co., now Conoco-Phillips. His career took off in 1953 after he returned from active duty in the Korean War as a S/Sgt. in the U.S. Army.
In Florida, he has lived on the Barrier Islands beaches for 10 years and was a political writer for several beach newspapers including the Beach Beacon and the Barrier Islands Gazette, both of which he edited.
