As of press time, over 4.5 million Floridians had already voted in this extraordinary, dear-god-let-it-be-over-already election. And as has been the case for so many elections now, the Florida vote will likely determine the next president of the United States.

We also composed letters to supporters of a certain candidate whose popularity confounds us — except that we know so many people (including our families) who have contributed to that popularity.

You may agree with our choices, you may virulently disagree — there’s lots of virulence going around this year.
