Eyewear company Warby Parker is planning their second Tampa location, this time inside International Plaza.

According to city permits obtained by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the company is looking to open a 1,725-square-foot store inside the Tampa shopping mall.

The store, which will also include an exam room, will be on the mall’s second floor near Ballard Designs.

Tampa Bay’s original Warby Parker location opened in 2016 inside Oxford Exchange (420 W. Kennedy Blvd).

As of now, no exact opening date has been released for the new location.

Last May, International Plaza announced plans to add both a 40,000-square foot movie theater and a 14 lane bowling alley. The proposed entertainment complex would be located between the Nordstrom parking lot and Bay Street parking.

Creative Loafing reached out to Warby Parker and International Plaza, and will update this post with any new information.
