If you were planning on hitting Daddy Kool Records or Star Booty today, we have some sucky news.

Basically, the entire 600 Block is shut down today after a water main break caused the wall of a building to collapse.

The break gushed water, causing flooding and erosion that compromised the integrity of the adjacent building on the southeast corner of 7th Street and Central Avenue, thereby causing the west-facing wall of Underground, a church there, to collapse, officials said, stressing that it's not a sinkhole.

There is now a giant hole in the wall, and you can see the chairs lined up inside the church, which we hadn't realized was a church. Next to it, there's a massive hole in the ground with a huge tree branch sticking out of it.

So, yeah, it's a huge mess that naturally attracted tons of TV news crews (and even a helicopter).

Ben Kirby, a spokesman for Mayor Rick Kriseman, said workers are repairing the water main and that they're going to have to dig a hole in the middle of the street in order to restore water to the block, which has a large number of independent shops, galleries and other businesses.

It is unclear as yet when they'll be able to open again, but it seriously looks like a fucking bomb went off, so it may be a while.

"We hope to resume operations as soon as possible," reads a post on Daddy Kool's Facebook page. "Sorry for any inconvenience!"
