01Eight O'Clock Theatre breathes life into saucy Kit Kat Klub singer Sally Bowles in its new production of Cabaret, which opens tonight at Largo Cultural Center. 8 p.m., Largo.

02The International Cinema Series continues with a screening of Paprika, Satoshi Kon's 2007 animated, tripped-out sci-fi adventure about a research psychologist and the machine that lets her assess the problems of her patients by entering their dreams. 7 p.m., Miller Auditorium-Eckerd College, St. Petersburg.

03Spirit of Africa: A Cultural Celebration of Hope, to benefit Public Health Education in Nigeria (PHENIG), features all things African — traditional dance and drumming, an original play, masquerade performance, fashion show and authentic cuisine. 7 p.m., International Bazaar, Ybor City.
