25The local observance of the Sixth Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days — a global awareness-raising series of events — spreads a message of hope, unity and "Harmony for Humanity" with live music, readings and talks by several Bay area luminaries. 7-11 p.m., Tre Amici, Ybor City.

26Two community theaters stage Halloween-time shows inspired by classic horror novels: Footlights Theatre presents The Legend of Frankenstein at Center Place in Brandon (7:30 p.m.); across the Bay, Dracula is produced by the Gulfport Community Players at the Back Door Theater (8 p.m.).

27Now in its 20th year, the well-attended India Festival spotlights Indian cuisine, fashion trends, film, and traditional music and dance. More than 60 booths feature designer clothing collections, jewelry, arts and handicrafts, henna artists and plenty more. 1-10 p.m., USF Sun Dome, Tampa.

28Celebration plays shimmering psychedelic rock with hints of soul à la TV on the Radio; they stop in Tampa with frenetic experimental rockers Dragons of Zynth (read more in Music Week, p. 58). 9 p.m., New World Brewery, Ybor City.

29Simon Levy's What I Heard About Iraq — a play that examines the Iraq war from the perspectives of leaders, soldiers and civilians — is staged at part of USF Peace Week 2007, a four-day event held to promote peace literacy. 7 p.m., Marshall Center Ballroom, USF-Tampa.

30High-def Halloweens! Several Bay area theaters are screening digitally remastered prints of Halloween 4 and 5, Michael Myers' Return and Revenge, respectively, plus extra featurettes. Check local listings.

31Rock Candy features live music by Auto! Automatic!!, Word Wide Zoo and Gwan of the Dead, live spins and an exhibit of macabre works by several Bay area artists. 10 p.m., Czar, Ybor City.
