On Monday, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus announced the leadership of the Platform Committee at this summer's Republican Convention in Tampa, which will be headed by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. Although crafting a platform can be a dry, wonky exercise, plenty of Republicans care about what will be written in that document, which affirms the principals of the GOP.

Some of those Republicans are with the "Hard Work Clean Hand" initiative, a self-described conservative immigration group that has circulated a letter urging RNC delegates to adopt the Texas Republican Party's immigration platform.

Brad Bailey served on the Texas GOP’s 2012 Platform Committee and co-wrote the immigration plan, which takes aim at the 14th Amendment by limiting citizenship — "with no exceptions" — to people born to citizens of the U.S.

But the plan also calls for creating an "effective and efficient temporary worker program."

So what does that mean?
