Did you know there’s a magazine that comes out every two months dedicated to chickens called Chickens?
Tampa writer and homesteading expert/workshop leader Kenny Coogan penned a very nice spread for the niche publication that covers the Ybor flock, the Ybor Chickens Society and artist Lynn Rattray, some of whose work has been inspired by the colorful and controversial roosters who make the historic district their home.
The piece appears in the November/December issue. It doesn’t appear to be up at the magazine’s website, but the issue is on stands now.
