Last week, a mid-century home designed by the prominent local
architect Sanford M. Goldman hit the market in St. Petersburg, and now another one on the other side of the peninsula is up for grabs.
Located on
3910 Belle Vista Dr. E, in St. Pete Beach, Goldman completed the tri-level home in 1967, and recently consulted on a two-year extensive renovation to the property, says the listing.
The 4,747-square-foot home comes with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, as well as an interior courtyard and fountain, suspended staircases, 17-foot high French doors, a corner fireplace, a pool, and 142-feet of water frontage.
Goldman studied under Wright for two years at the Taliesin fellowship in Wisconsin, and in 2018 received a proclamation for his accomplished career and contributions to mid-century modern architecture from St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman.
The listing, which is held by Torrie Tiernan Jasuwan of Luxe Properties, is currently asking $2,699,999.
This is actually the second Goldman house to recently hit the market. One of his other properties on Snell Isle is also for sale, but with a much steeper
$7.9 million price tag.
Correction: A previous version of this story stated the architect as Sam Goldman The correct name is "Sanford." We regret the error.
