Hundreds of protesters marched falling far short of the 5000 organizers expected, the small turnout was blamed on the weather as Tropical Storm Isacc moved through the area. Organizers said some busses that had planned to bring people to the rally from outside of Tampa canceled resulting in fewer people at the march. The session was shortened because of the threat posed by Tropical Storm Isaac which ended up to be much weaker then expected a few days ago with some brief strong rain showers on and off throughout the day.
