We briefly mentioned this show in July, as Tempus Projects Founder Tracy Midulla moved Tempus into a new temporary space on N. Florida Ave., but it bears repeating. Due to pandemic displacement, “Home is Anywhere you Hang your Head” will be the largest exhibition Tempus has hosted in over a year. The exhibition, which arrives this fall, combines artwork, housewares and furniture.

“I am so excited about this exhibition,” Midulla told CL back in July. “Just the opportunity to show some large pieces alongside some things that are functional in the home. I think it's really great.”

“It's also become this exhibition that I kind of chuckle at…The fact that it was slated for March of 2020, and it was home-themed, and it got locked away because we were all locked away in our homes… And then it's titled, ‘Home is Anywhere you Hang Your Head,’ and Tempus [was temporarily] without a home,” Midulla added. “It's become this weird self-fulfilling prophecy of an exhibition that's now being housed in a temporary space. So really, home really is anywhere we hang our heads. I think it's just really beautifully appropriate…”

Home is Anywhere you Hang Your Head. Exact dates TBD. Tempus Projects, 4220 N Florida Ave., Tampa. tempus-projects.com
