This past weekend, Vice President Joe Biden emphatically expressed his support of gay marriage. The highest-ranking member of the Obama administration to speak out in support of same-sex nuptials, Biden told NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday that he's "absolutely comfortable" with gay couples having the same rights as heterosexual couples. During the interview, the VP cited the show Will and Grace as positively influencing public opinion of the LGBT community.

As the 2012 presidential election approaches, you can't help but wonder how this will affect Obama's campaign and whether he will conitnue to "evolve" on the issue of gay marriage. So far, Obama has only said he supports civil unions.
