A kind of operatic version of March Madness happens this weekend when St. Pete Opera stages four performances over four days, split between Opera Central (2145 1st Ave. S.) and Cage Brewing (2001 1st Ave S).

All shows feature performers Eric Ferring, Sarah Nordin, Tyler Putnam, Chris Romeo, and Linda Holloway, belting out pieces from Verdi, Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Bizet. The Opera Central shows are a little more expensive, but come with wine. Masks are required when standing or walking.

Popera: Mobile Pop Up Opera. March 25-28. Thursday and Friday, 8 p.m. at Opera Central, St. Petersburg. $50-$200. Saturday, 4 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m. at Cage Brewing, St. Petersburg. $15-$35. stpeteopera.org
