Dust off the flip flops because surf-soft-rock icon Jack Johnson’s summer tour is coming to Tampa in 2022.

Tickets to see Jack Johnson play MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022 at 7:15 p.m. go on sale to the public on Friday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m.

The 46-year-old songwriter and filmmaker last played Tampa in 2017 in support of his last studio full-length All the Light Above It Too.

A press release from Live Nation says Ziggy Marley will play support on the Tampa date. Support on other stops of the tour will come from Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Lake Street Dive, Durand Jones & the Indications, and Ron Artis II & Thunderstorm Artis.

The released added that $2 from every ticket sold will be split between carbon offset projects and organizations that have partnered with Johnson’s All At Once nonprofit, which supports environmental projects, plastic-free initiatives and food security efforts.

Per usual, Johnson’s Tampa date finds him working with promoters to let concert goers bring their own refillable water bottle and also source local farmers when preparing rider items.

The only other Florida show on the three-month run is at West Palm Beach’s iThink amphitheatre on Aug. 18.
