We’re still of the opinion that most dads just want to be left the fuck alone on Father’s Day, but if your pops loves you enough to actually want to spend some quality time on Sunday, then consider getting a hold of a bicycle and joining the Pub Bike Ride crew, which is meeting at Seminole Heights’ Modernesian Kava Social, imbibing, and then setting off for two more stops (Florida Eats, London Heights) before wrapping things up at Vélo Champ where John Perch and The Lovely Shelby Cobra will play music.
Front and rear lights are required to participate, and a helmet is highly recommended. You also probably don’t want to do this ride if you’re the type who likes to disobey directions from ride leaders who are trying to keep you safe on the road.
“Overall group safety is a very important element of this ride,” organizers wrote. “If you do not want to stay with the group, stay home.”
Pub Bike Ride. Sun., June 16. 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.. No cover. INFO.
