Lakeland is hopping on the food hall train with 'The Joinery' and it's incorporating some of Tampa Bay's hottest vendors along with them; second locations for Gallito Taqueria, King State and Ava.

Lakeland natives, husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Sarah Bucklew, are putting the final touches on the vendor list, which now consists of Gallito Taqueria, King State, Sabu Ramen, Ava Pizzeria, Ato (from the founders of Armature Works' Zukku) and Mayday Ice Cream (from the company behind Hyppo Pops). Other than bites, Bloom Shakalaka will be on-site as a resident boutique flower and gift shop.

In a phone call with CL, Jonathan said The Joinery is shooting to make its debut by the end of 2019. The Joinery is located at 640 E. Main St. in Lakeland.
