AAA and Budweiser have teamed up yet again for the ‘Tow to Go’ initiative for Cinco de Mayo, which has removed more than 25,000 impaired drivers from roads across the Southeast and Midwest since 1998.
"Before making margaritas or tossing back tequilas, be sure you have a safe ride home," said Mark Jenkins, AAA spokesman in a recent statement.
"The fiesta can end quickly if you drive impaired. AAA urges partygoers to select a sober driver, taxi, or ride-sharing service before taking your first drink. If you are worried about leaving your vehicle at the party, call AAA and we'll arrange a safe ride for you both," Jenkins added.
Before you run off and party over the bridge, keep in mind the AAA tow truck will only transport the vehicle and the drive to a safe location within a 10-mile radius. The service may not be available in rural areas or during severe weather conditions.
The Tow to Go number is 855-286-9246. A sloppy Cinco shouldn’t be on your agenda.
