One of Tampa Bayโ€™s most soulful voicesโ€”Alex Harris, who has worked with Lionel Richie and Alicia Keys, just to name a fewโ€”hosts a gig loaded with a trio of Detroit-based soul powerhouses.

Lorenzo Ferguson (a.k.a. ZO!), who has composed scores for documentaries has played keyboards behind hip-hop duo The Foreign Exchange. Weโ€™re not sure if Ferguson and Terrel Wallace (billed as Tall Black Guy) will get together onstage for a track off of their 2021 collaboration album Abstractions, but J. Brownโ€”on the heels of his latest album The Art of Making Loveโ€”will also be present with his perfect grasp on the sound of contemporary โ€˜90s soul.

Tickets to see Alex Harris play Hough Hall at Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg on Saturday, Jan. 13 are still available for $45.
