Florida Eats in Seminole Heights will be shutting its doors for good after service this Friday, August 2 after only a little over three months in business.

The restaurant made headlines earlier this year when they entered into a lawsuit with Florida Avenue Brewing over the initial naming being "Florida Avenue Eats."

The concept took to social media on Thursday, August 1 to announce the closure, "Due to circumstances out of our control we will be closing Florida Eats."

Owners Greg Spadaccini and Ed Fernandez also added that they appreciate the support from the community over the few months of business and they "look forward to having a beer with y'all in the neighborhood."

Until its closure, Florida Eats will be operating from 11 a.m.- 9p.m.
