Cigar City Brewing, perhaps Tampa Bay's best known brewer of fine craft suds, has been sold to a bigger craft brewing concern, Colorado's Oskar Blues. Is this a reason to freak out? Probably not, and definitely not just yet. Are people gonna freak out? Like it's the end of the world as we know it, man.
Undead scarecrow thirsty for souls Rick Scott has got some late-in-the-game bragging to do: Florida led the nation in job creation in January, even though the state's unemployment rate is still just a bit below the national average. The Orlando area added the most jobs, and that's not even counting Disney starting to use real people in Pirates of the Caribbean and It's a Small World. (Rumors! Only rumors and lies!)
And finally, here is perhaps the most confusing story ever about an inept attempt to cover up a murder. The theory seems to have been "pile enough bullshit on it, and it stops looking like, you know, a guy got killed." Unfortunately for the defendant (and a guy), a guy definitely got killed.
