So you’ve probably grown jaded to the words "You’ve just won an iPad2," but if you are a member of the military or once were, I’ve got good news for you. You have a legitimate chance to win one this Super Bowl Sunday. Military social networking site ArmedZilla has just the contest for you.
So dust off those war stories from 'Nam, 'Raq, and the 'Stan. They may just get you a shiny new Apple tablet computer.
So who the heck is ArmedZilla, you ask? Armedzilla.com is a social networking site just for veterans and active military personnel and those who love and support them. From their mission they invite service members to share their stories both humorous and heart-wrenching to show the public exactly what it means to wear the uniform.
Now back to that juicy bit techno fruit the iPad2. It’s Apple’s second generation tablet, and is plenty sexy for geeks and grunts.
What you have to do is join up with the site and share those screwball, surreal, absurd or just plain funny times you had while serving. We know you have them, even if takes a couple of brews to bring them out. You rate the stories by ‘starring’ them which counts as a vote for your favorite story.
You have until Feb. 4 to join up and share your tales. I wouldn’t wait that long if you have a doozy, as you’ll want them votes.
