Lest you think all the bendy-stretchy things happen near downtown and the super-cool districts with breweries, let us introduce you to (yet) another place in St. Petersburg where you can unroll your mat and get your Zen on: The Old Southeast Market by Thrill Hill in St. Petersburg. No, they don’t have brunch afterwards and no, there’s no brewery on site, but rest assured, you can still get yourself into a lovely down dog. The Yogi Gnomes do this the last Saturday of the month, and when you’re done (or before — you do you, guys!) you can grab a craft beer, kombucha or salad. If you’re feeling super-athletic, you can even take run along the water in Lassing Park after class, or maybe simply head to the Chattaway for a burger. Hell, you could technically do all three, but that’s a lot of effort for us on a Sunday morning.

Yoga On Tap | Old Southeast Market, 1700 3rd St. S., St. Petersburg | June 24: 9 a.m.-10 a.m. | $15; $10, advance; and $5, The Body Electric members (advance only) | More info
