Are you an artist or always wanted to be one?
Or are you just itching to make a political statement?
Satisfy both urges by entering the Poster Art Show at Cafe Hey late August. The event is scheduled to coincide with the Republican National Convention in Tampa.
The open call to artists in the U.S. and abroad solicits those who wish to express their views to RNC leaders, the media, and others inside the convention zone. Handmade, preprinted and digital posters are welcome. Deadline for submissions is Aug. 15.
The spot for an irreverent, political art show is ideal; Cafe Hey is located just outside of the perimeter of the RNC event zone, on the line dividing the convention's insiders from the larger public.
The cafe will display all submissions in and outside the cafe starting on Aug. 25 and extending to the end of the RNC on Aug. 30. Find out about more at thepostershow.com.
