Hannibal Buress, who performs three sets at Ybor City’s Funny Bone this weekend, has come a long way since bombing at open mics in Chicago 20 years ago.

He exposed Bill Cosby as a sexual predator, starred in dozens of movies and TV shows, got grilled by Ziwe about being a landlord, launched a comedic rap career with seriously good beats as Eshu Tune, and most recently opened an event space in NYC.

He even came to downtown Tampa to recorded songs with Bay area composer and bassist Rugawd.

His 2016 Netflix special, “Comedy Camiso,” is still considered one of the platformโ€™s best.

Tickets start at $42 for Hannibal Buress, performing Saturday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., and Sunday, July 6 at 6:30 p.m.
