Orlando City Hall was once home to a “La Diaspora’’ exhibit featuring artists from across the Caribbean archipelago. The show expanded to cities big (Chicago) and small (Ocala), and now a version of it is open at Creative Pinellas' gallery in Largo.

“Keepers of Heritage: Hidden Tales” or “Custodios de la Herencia: Cuentos Ocultos” features 20 boricuas in multiple mediums—including Brenda Cruz, Domingo Garcia, Martin Garcia Rivera, Rafael Rivera Rosa, and Alejandro de Jesus (work pictured)—helping shine light on stories of their homeland.

It opened last weekend and runs through mid-October.

There's no cover to see "Keepers of Heritage: Hidden Tales" at Largo's Creative Pinellas, which is open. Wednesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
