Rock out at the Orpheum in Ybor with Tim Barry, Greenland Is Melting and Grabass Charlestons. Former punk hero and current folk-stomping troubadour Tim Barry is beloved for his raw honesty, his lyrics delivered in gruff-drawling explosions of angst or heartsickness or other intense-on-sleeve emotions, his songwriting riddled with wry stories, blue collar commentary on society, and his own philosophies about life. The Virginia-based Suburban Home Records singer/guitarist released a fourth album last January, 28th & Stonewall, and stops here with two exceptional Gainesville bands. Greenland Is Melting offers up a bluegrass howl and Grabass Charlestons hooks you in with catchy, raspy vintage rock 'n' punk. 8 p.m., The Orpheum is at 1902 Republica de Cuba Ave., Ybor City. $10; all ages. Text contributed by Leilani Polk.
