Billed as “St. Pete’s celebration of all things local,” this Best of the Bay-winning makers market returns this weekend for another year of showcasing small businesses in The ‘Burg.

The 11th annual Localtopia brings over 300 local vendors, food trucks, kid-friendly activities, breweries, live performances and more to Williams Park in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg.

Just a handful of artists, vendors and community organizations that will be tabling include Mother Kombucha, Shine Mural Festival, St. Pete Bike Co-op, Greens n’ Things Urban Farm, Lida’s Jungle and Nomad Art Bus, plus bites from Latin Lunchbox, Twisted Indian, Nah Dogs Vegan Hot Dog Cart, Lost Coast Oyster Company, Foodie Labs and much more.

Localtopia is separated into multiple “villages” that focus on family-friendly activities, plants, health and wellness, arts and food trucks and there’s tons of information about each category on its website.

Event organizers Keep Saint Petersburg Local encourage attendees to consider alternative methods of transportation like the trolley, Sunrunner or bicycle (with free valet service) to get to Localtopia, since parking in downtown St. Pete will be sparse.

There’s no cover for the 11th Annual Localtopia happening Saturday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  at Williams Park ( 350 2nd Ave. N) in St. Petersburg. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
