If you like your comedians weird AF, then you might want to snag a table at Ella’s for this month’s edition of the “Hellarity” comedy night.

Former U.S. Marine John J. Murray (pictured) headlines the no-cover affair with his strange, stoned take on current affairs. Opening for Murray is fellow veteral JJ Curry (“Curry Chicken Podcast,” “LMAO” on Roku) who’s joined onstage by Tampa-based essential oil enthusiast Shellie Harris (see below) and North Carolina expat and bipolar ex-Baptist Beth Moore.

There’s no drink minimum at this Seminole Heights stronghold, but it’s still running at limited capacity, so tip like your money’s on fire, OK?

Hellarity: John J. Murray w/JJ Curry/Shellie Harris/Beth Moore (hosted By Matt Carter). Saturday, May 15, 9 p.m. No cover (reservation recommended). Ella’s Americana Folk Art Cafe, 5119 N Nebraska Ave., Tampa. @ellasfolkartcafe on Facebook
