Tampa gets to be in the reality TV spotlight once again this month when Netflix debuts “Selling Tampa” on Dec. 15.

The show features local Allure Realty owner/broker Sharelle Rosado and her team of Black and minority women as they tackle the world of luxury real estate in Tampa Bay.

“Viewers are going to see powerful minority women stepping into luxury real estate. This shows anyone as long as you work hard and no matter what, you can do it,” Rosado told CL at the time.

There wasn’t any word on when the show was supposed to come out at that time but the streaming service’s Strong Black Lead vertical recently announced the premiere, writing, “Fresh market, fresh attitude. Selling Tampa premieres December 15th only on Netflix.”

Fans went wild and can’t contain their excitement for the upcoming show. Juawana Colbert (pictured), Allure Realty real estate agent/office manager and lead cast member, told CL she’s most excited for everyone to see Tampa because she thinks it’s a “hidden gem”.

“I think Tampa has been slept on. I’m excited to expose the city a little bit more,” she said.

Colbert said the group feels “blessed and honored” to have the opportunity to showcase women in this light. She says viewers can see minority women being successful in the real estate world while trying to balance their personal lives.

“We just feel like we’ll be super supported and we couldn’t ask for anything better,” she said.
