After the success of its lesbian Pride party, The Ball is now hosting sapphics twice a month for “Disco Tits Queer Women’s Night.”
Its first event last Friday, July 18 featured go-go shower dancers and music from DJ Chemical Lex. The Ball now hosts Disco Tits every first and third Friday, 9 p.m.- 2 a.m.
It’s a stoplight party with glowsticks for attendees to signal whether they are “just looking for friends” (red), “open to flirting” (yellow) or “down to get dirty and flirty” (green).
The 21-and-up, no cover night is open to queer women, sapphic folks and their allies (not straight unicorn hunters).
The Ball opened in February atย 49 24th St. N, at the former home of sacrilegious speakeasy The Saint.ย Pour Behavior Hospitality owner David Fischer closed The Saint last year and rebrandedย itย as The Ball to literally go under his Mari Jean Hotel LGBTQ+ brand with Cocktail and the Wet Spot.
