Pirate Water Taxi and Tampa Bay History Center have partnered to bring history buffs and city-explorers the Tampa Bay History Tour.
From aboard the water taxi, explore everything from Tampa’s first inhabitants and European explorers, to the Hillsborough River’s transition from its early days as an industry-heavy port to a recreational waterfront.
Tampa Bay History Center’s Rodney Kite-Powell narrates and guides visitors down that exact waterfront in this 90-minute tour. Learn a little, and afterward, enjoy a drink downtown before work on Monday.
