Cora Marshall, the well-known African-American artist, will have work hanging in the Town Shores Fine Art Guild's first-ever art show next month. The Inaugural 2019 Invitational Fine Arts Show will open at Gulfport's Catherine A. Hickman Theater lobby on Feb. 1, from 6-8 p.m.; the show will hang all month.
Marshall has exhibited locally at the Dr. Carter Woodson museum as well as across the United States, including Brooklyn, Atlanta, at NYU and in Ghana.
Other artists in the show include fellow Gulfportians Lubov Alyeynik, Irene Billon, Deborah Coffin, Margie Davis, Pat Flaherty, Pat Gallagher, George Goodenough Cheri LaBelle, Audrey Lynch, Jay Lynch, Karen Lyndel, Bridget Marshall, McClain, Brona Pelleriti, Barbara Zegarek and the late Don Soper.
