That’s right, the crazy cometh. Charlie Sheen’s traveling road show, “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option” invades the St. Pete Times Forum on April 22. Seats start from $46.75 (up to about $90) and and if you’re really a die-hard fan, you can drop $750 for front row seats and an autographed photo. They may seem pricey, but you’d better act fast if you want to get a live dose of America’s latest guilty pleasure. The first two tour dates sold out within minutes (including one at Radio City Music Hall in NYC). $1 per ticket will go to Japan’s Red Cross earthquake relief, and the rest will presumably go toward furthering a descent into madness that we’re all more inclined to stare at than discourage. Sheen, the tiger-blooded warlock himself, says people will “scream, laugh, and hear the truth,” and that’s pretty much all the info we’re getting on what exactly this show will entail.
