Sidewalks of St. Pete’s historic Deuces neighborhood will turn into a watery wonderland next month thanks to the Tampa Bay Chalk Festival.

Twenty-five artists will tackle the theme “Our Watery Futures” from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. WADA, the Warehouse Arts District Association, hosts an environmental panel at noon where environmental experts will tackle the topic of environmental resiliency.

The event is organized by Pinellas Diaspora Arts Project, whose “mission is to support the well-being of underrepresented communities in Tampa Bay by activating participation in arts, technology, media, and civic education.”

There is no cover for Tampa Bay Chalk Festival happening Saturday, May 3 at 22nd Street S between 7th Avenue S & 9th Avenue S, St. Petersburg.
