Two-time Pulitzer winner Lynn Nottage’s memory play Crumbs from the Table of Joy is currently on at freeFall Theatre, and is reportedly drawing some seriously emotional reactions.
Told through the real-life and fantasy experiences of a 17-year-old girl, Crumbs is the story of an African-American family dealing with both small- and large-scale change after a move from Florida to tumultuous, quickly evolving postwar ‘50s Brooklyn.
